63rd Annual Navajo Nation Fair

Window Rock is located in the far North, East corner of Arizona. It is the seat of government for the Navajo Nation, which is the largest Native American tribe in the United States.

Every year in September is the Navajo Nation fair. The first Navajo Nation fair was held in 1938. This year marks it's 63rd year for the Navajo Nation fair.

This year the Navajo Nation fair is held from Wensday, 09/09/09 through Sunday 09/13/09

There is so much to do for the whole family. Arts & crafts, baby contest, free BBQ, exhibits, concerts, horse racing, parade, Pow Wow, rodeo, traditional song & dance, fry bread contest, carnival.

On Friday, 09/11/08 at 9:30pm is a live concert with Bucky Covington, a country and western singer.

  1. We drove through the Navaho nation last week and really enjoyed it. Our favorite drive was the road (191) off of Interstate 40 near Holbrook, through Chinle and up to Shiprock. Quite specatular country.
