eBay is now offering an eBay Bucks rewards, which is designed to reward eBay users for purchasing items on eBay. This is a great program eBay has come up with and help save on some extra costs in purchasing their items. Myself I look at it like a gift certificate you will be able to use towards other purchases.

So you wonder what this eBay Bucks rewards is all about. I have given information listed below on what is all about.

This is open only to eligible Participants

So how does one become an Eligible Participant?

1. Must be a registered member with an eBay account in good standing (no hold or suspension) and is a legal U.S. resident 18 years of age or older with a U.S. registration address tied to his/her eBay account.


2. Has a valid Paypal account or successfully signs up for a Paypal account and such account must be in good standing


3. Must the invited from eBay to participate in the Program . eBay sends out emails to ones who had qualified for the eBay Bucks Reward program.

How much can an Eligible Participant Earn?

Once one has accepted their invite for the eBay Bucks Rewards they can earn points for each of the items they purchase with in a 3-month period. The first 3-month period is from April, May and June, proceeding to the next 3-month period of July, August and Sept. Continuing through out in a increments of three months.

For each item purchased the eBay Bucks is equal to 2% of the selling price. When one goes to look or purchase an eBay item listing, they will now see the "Bucks" icon and amount you can earn just below the price of the item.

1. An Eligible Participant can earn up to $200 in Rewards for each transaction.


2. Over the course of each Earn Period, Rewards are capped at $500 in Rewards for each Eligible Participant.


3. The Rewards are in a U.S. dollar amount which will be given in the form of an eBay Bucks Certificate.


4. The eBay Bucks Certificate is valid and redeemable by an Eligible Participant for 30 days after the eBay Bucks Certificate is issued by eBay.


5. To use an eBay Bucks Certificate, the Eligible Participant must pay for an item using his/her Paypal account before the expiration of the eBay Bucks Certificate.


6. Rewards will be deducted from the total purchase price and any unused Reward amount remaining on the eBay Bucks Certificate will continue to be available to the Eligible Participant until that eBay Bucks Certificate expires.


7. Once eBay issues the eBay Bucks Certificate for Rewards earned, the Eligible Participant has until the expiration date on the eBay Bucks Certificate to redeem those Rewards and any unused amount on the eBay Bucks Certificate shall be forfeited if not redeemed before the expiration date.
